sure, but Hollands team just doesnt strike me as one that can win, Brazil, Argentina, Spain even, all have teams that I can see winning. (personally I think England can too, but im very biased on this one, lol)

Yeah I missed england cause of work but thats pretty dissapointing... not that we did very good... a little bad luck... some very bad defence... offence wasn't to great... but not all that bad considering we lost one man to a kinda stupid referee... and missing a penalty always sucks... but all in all a deserved loss... at least they went out fighting... hopefully that will get them grounded now and the trainer can make some necessary changes...

but talking about a stupid referee... USA had such a great comeback going only to have the ref take the victory from them minutes before the game ended... that really pissed me off bigtime... that one blind idiot can take the victory from a team that fought so well is just lame...

also I deleted some of the mega quotes... because I can... and they make it a pain to read the thread with thousands of boxed... so please quote one thing at a time in one box from now on... thanks...

they should have video tech in football, for contrevertial decisions the ref should be able to see a replay so he can make the right decision.

^^ Yeah this has been discussed for years... I also don't want the games flow to be compromised by constant video checking... but there really should be a referee on the sideline who can watch the replays and veto to decisions of the one on the field if he really makes a obviously huge mistake like against the USA...

at the very least, yes, I dont know it would interrupt the flow that much more than it does at the moment, it works well in Rugby.
