Me and Jo will go camping! I don't need some room to keep me safe.

I hope roaches crawl in your hair and mouth while you sleep mr.macho... then you might think about an inn a bit more often.

What if I have no hair? If they crawl in my mouth I will have a nice little snack. Yummy.

i hope they lay eggs in your tonsils....

Ok, so sci and angel are in the inn. They rest up and are ready to go in the morning. the day before at the training hall they earned 5 exp each.

j0 and mako go camping and while they are out, they find a small alcove of trees to sleep in. They make a nice camp fire so they keep warm. j0 and mako each earned 3 exp each from the training hall.

When walking about the camp, mako trips over a branch. He face plants in the mud. But as luck would have it, he finds a pouch. Seemingly from another camper. It has a a few coins and a healing potion. It also contains a cryptic message.

Mako can't read it, but he thinks Dsis might be able to. He will show it to him in the morning... *yawn* j0 and Mako go to sleep.

Where is dsister again? Is he in that old dungeon?

No, Dsis was wandering the streets of the city all night like a bum.

[dsister]

I'll head to their camp to read the message!

[Luinil]

But you don't know they had one, unless you have telepathy with mako... He hasn't even told j0 since j0 was already sleeping. He has not sent any type of messenger to you either.

Now why are you going to their camp, and can you find it?

I'll continue wandering the streets like a bum!

Jo wakes up and reads the message Mako has, he tries to interpret it without dsister's help.

[Luinil]

j0 tries to make sense of the message, but just doesn't even understand it. j0 determines it must be a different language entirely. It isn't human elf or dwarf writing.

Looks like we have found an alien message!

Better go back to the town to see if anyone knows how to read it.

I tell Mako that we should ask as many townsfolk as we can, or go to the scholar.

You two head off to town to find someone who can help you with understanding the message you found.

Where do you want to start searching?

I guess I can't train or anything to pass the time?

[Luinil]

After wandering around and sleeping in the streets like a bum, Dsis stumbles in the door of a magical wares shop.

The clerk looks at him and smirks. "Faust, looks like we got a live one today!" He shouts toward the back.

A strange looking man hobbles out from behind a curtain. His leg was wounded at some point in the past, and he can't walk as well as he once did. He looks Dsis up and down, and mutters to himself, "... ten... al..." and waves for you to come into the back room with him.

Dsis follows him and tries to introduce himself, but Faust waves him off, not caring about introductions. Faust says, "I made this room to resist all magical damage, yet still be able to cast magic, as in battle. Don't worry, you can't be hurt by magic in this room either." He then motions for Dsis to go to the other side of the room.

Once he turns around, he sees Faust casting a spell, "FIREBALL!" and a several balls of flame are conjured up immediately and are flung at Dsis and the area around him. What will you do?

Jo decides to go to the scholar.

I'll use whirlwind to blow away the fire!

[Luinil]

The two spells collide and there is a sudden implosion and a loud boom, but both spells have vanished.

Faust doesn't look surprised but you see him making arcane symbols and muttering forgotten words. Will you wait or counter attack?

[Luinil]

Meanwhile, j0 is back in town with the message. He is asking various street vendors and not having any luck. Finally he gets a clue, he is told about a magic shop that just might have the answer he is looking for. He is pointed in the general direction, but the specifics were not given. It could take a bit of time to find...

I'll attack with air blade!

Instead wasting time looking for the shop, Jo decides to listens for any loud sounds that may give him a clue.

[Luinil]

Faust finishes his spell and shouts "Faust Super Ultra Secret Fire Attack! SUPER NAP---- urgh!" He stops short as he gets hit with Dsisiter's Air Blade. The spell on his lips dies.

Faust looks winded but glares at Dsis with surprise. He isn't ready to give up yet. Faust shouts "Fire BOMB!" and a small bomb appears before him, he looks startled and tries to kick the bomb over to Dsis. Faust fails to kick it though and slips down next to the bomb.

j0 sees smoke coming up from a small building on the next street. He starts walking that way.

Dsis walks over and picks up the soot covered Faust from the floor. He coughs and pushes Dsis away. "No mistakes this time!" he yells as he quickly casts "Flame Barrier". Now dsis is trapped behind a wall of flames, strangely it hot but rather an impenetrable wall of flame.

What will dsis do?

Jo walks up to the building and knocks on the door. He doesn't hear an answer so goes in anyways.

[dsister]

Oh powerful winds I summon a whirlwind to blow the flames back on him!

[Luinil]

Dsis spell tries to push the flame barrier out to free dsis, but it fails to gather enough force. Instead it pulls Dsis up and transports him outside of the barrier with fling. Dsis bounced around the room a few times it was so powerful, and landed on Faust. (luckily the room is magic proof, so the force Dsis was thrown was absorbed and Dsis was not injured.)

Faust shouts, in a muffled voice, "UNCLE!"

Dsis gets up and picks Faust up too.

"Ok," says Faust, "Let me introduce myself. I am Faust, a fire mage of this city." He bows. "It is my duty to test young mages for battle worthiness. And it seems that you passed with flying colors, literally..." He rubs his back where Dsis landed on it. "Further this is my shop. I can offer you a--"

j0 walks in at this time and sees Dsis talking with the strange old man. j0 turns to Dsis and holds out the tattered paper that the message is written on. Do you want to show it to Faust, or only Dsis?
