I doubt we will see any 10's unless someone does a past review, and I don't think anyone around here would give any games other then GTA4 and Ocarina a 10. I don't think we will see a GTA4 review though as that has been argued to death.

You know what that could be an interesting thread, I think I will start it best bet for a 10 (in the future)

Well I tend to like Roger Eberts theroy of reviewing something based on what it is.

When you ask a friend if Hellboy is any good, you're not asking if it's any good compared to Mystic River, you're asking if it's any good compared to The Punisher. And my answer would be, on a scale of one to four, if Superman is four, then Hellboy is three and The Punisher is two. In the same way, if American Beauty gets four stars, then (The United States of) Leland clocks in at about two

In essence a 10 for Smash Bros. does not mean its better then Bioshock at a 9. I think that is the best system to use around here.

In my mind

9-10 is a must by for that genre not console
8-9 is something you should get
7-8 is something you should get if you really like that genre
6-7 is something you may find good if your really like that genre
5-6 is something that is a throw away but if you really love this type of game, its barable
4-5 is something you most likley will not enjoy but has some sparkles of life
3-4 is far from fun but if for some reason you are compelled
2-3 is not worth buying
1-2 do not by this game
0-1 this is so bad you might get it for the laughs
