Games Exchange
I'd like to propose an idea I've had for awhile.
How many of you feel overwhelmed with the idea of buying new games, but hate to rent because of the potential for late fees. I know that gamefly exists....but even there there's a commitment.
So here's my little brainstorm...
You can send through the mail games via media mail. It costs less than normal mail, and supposedly takes more time....but my friend just sent me back my three seasons of Lost for $3.50 and it only took two days. That's not too shabby.
So the concept goes something like this: You display the list of games you own and would be willing to send through the mail). Then, you go look through someone else's list and propose a trade (two weeks to a month). If they agree, you share your real addresses in a pm (or email). Obviously the participants in this program should either be 18 or over...or have made sure that their parents know EXACTLY what is going on. Of course, you would also have to participate in the same region.
So what does everyone think. Let's hammer out this idea until it fails or until it gains enough support that a few people here get to game on a lot less dough.

Re: Games Exchange
I can't do this, I think it's a great idea but I don't have much games to send and I like my games. and I am less than 18....
B4L and ramon traded games with each other once, so they'll probably want to do this.

Re: Games Exchange
Sounds good to me. It proably would be good to have a game list for everyone or at least a list of games they can handle temporarly parting with.
Also to just regular mail a dvd + case is around $2
And if I'm reading it right media mail would be $1.90
they calculate per pound and round up so 1/4 pound cost as much as 1 pound.
So just mailing the disc without case would be the cheapest method hell even mailing it with just a jewle case looks to be cheaper and that includes bubble wrap.

Re: Games Exchange
Cool....glad you guys are liking this idea.
The question is....of those who are interested...what region are you? I'm sure I could trade with kenzo....and I'm sure I couldn't trade iwth dude (mostly because he's a pirate...lol).
So is Mexico in the same regions as the US and Canada?

Yeah...and what region you're in. If you don't make it today, I'll try to get to it tomorrow.
