Post your desktop!
Thread is simple post a screenshot of your current desktop.
PLEASE READ BEFORE POSTING FROM HERE ON OUT.
Guidelines
-If your screen is over 1024x768 post the image as thumbnail.
(If you don't know a hosting site that does this imageshack has this option)
Posting any higher resolution image slows down the thread considerably and makes it look ugly and cluttered.
-No nudity.
*ecchi art, skin, and sexual poses are fine but no raw nudity with visible private areas.
- Not a requirement but I EXTREMELY ENCOURAGE you to post the original wallpaper next to your desktop image or at least link to it.
I will be posting often.

How do you resize the images the way you do to make things easier for our slow internet friends?
Right-click to view. See if you can find the launch icon for the screenshot-taking program.
If you host them in imageshack (dunno on other sites), upload it and then copy the "thumbnail for forums" text
Also, that's KDE, right?

Yup, KDE 4.3.1. I'll try lowering the image quality to see if i can fit my whole desktop into imageshack without resizing..zexen wrote:dusty_fox wrote:

I use windows 7 for games that don't run well with wine. I'll post a screenshot of it later.
edit: My windows xp virtual machine desktop. It's really handy when I'm too lazy to reboot
....exciting huh?

Ah, I see, I'm the inverse, I use Windows natively and Ubuntu in a VM, too lazy to partition the disk, and as you said, saves me the hassle to reboot. Plus, I only need it for uni work. Though, it runs like crap, too slow, luckily I don't need it for much more than executing basic C++ code...maybe I'll partition the disk when my dad buys FINALLY that router we need so much...

Hmm. It actually looks a bit lower quality.
I originally got it from a neogaf thread or nintendo world report thread.

This is my current background at work.
I might change it eventually, but for now I will say I like it.
This is my background at home
I have thought about changing it, but I probably will not. I like it too much. Nice and muted but still catchy enough.
