HAPPY NEW YEAR! I shall post some pics of my work in the kitchen later. With my dad's help, I got the kitchen repaired (some drywall mudding) - he actually did all but one little part of the big mudding project.

Then today I proceeded to paint at least 3 coats of 3 different colors (1 primer coat, 2 coats of each color) in the dining/kitchen area. I did all this from about noon till 7ish when people arrived. I had just gotten done. I had some other help from friends too, or I could never have pulled this off before getting people over today. It looks so much better than the wallpaper from earlier. This will be a good year I hope.

And Luin: sounds like you've been working very hard. Hope you get everything done soon and can start to take some time to relax. My family just started to paint our basement. We painted the whole ceiling black and now we are painting the walls white, and then we are going to add black carpet, I guess. My dad picked the colors. lol Its really dark down there so it should look ok. But yeah, I know how hard painting can be.

Ah 2010, such an interesting year for some of us here.

Imagine by the end of this year, some of us will be finishing finals in college, with a job, living on our own. Yeerp, such an interesting year.
