Unboxing F/SN collection.
So I recently just got my F/SN collection and with a request from a buddy in the chat, I took pics.
First off an overview of the things I bought
Next is a close up of F/SN
Next is a close up of the Fan disk/sequel FHA
That's the end of the games.
Next up is the artbooks
And lastly we have the other artbook
Difference between Magic and Sorcery. For the over achievers. =P
Overall, that was money well spent for me, though some people might find it wasteful.
I'll be keeping these in the box full of childhood memories as a memento and proof of what I did in my younger years along with my pictures and other achievements. ^_^

And lastly we have the other artbook
- Spoiler:
Somewhat.. creepy..
First Character pic is surprisingly young Aoko Aozaki of "Tsukihime" fame.
One of the 5 known sorcerers. Side note to Zex: Think 27 true runes, a few true runes is shown in every game. Here it's 5 Great Sorcerers throughout the different series. Also, note that they don't have as big a role as the true runes.
Fun fact: Gil mentions that Saber's Avalon can keep the 5 great sorcery at bay after his Enuma Elish is deflected.
Pics of her grown up in Tsukihime:
Fateful meeting with the main protagonist of Tsukihime.
Also found a pic of her sister Tohko Aozaki of "Kara No kyoukai: Garden of sinners" Fame.
Pics of her grown up in KnK:
Rough sketches of FSN
Difference between Magic and Sorcery. For the over achievers. =P
- Spoiler:
- Magic can best be described as re-creating effects that are scientifically possible, such as creating flame, repairing a window, so on and so forth. Anyone with a magic circuit can learn Magic, how far one can progress depends on their talent, someone who uses magic is called a Magus. Sorcery is much much rarer in modern day, while magic can re-create any scientifically possible effect (in theory), sorcery deals with the impossible and the realisation of miracles. In the past, sorcery was much more common, and so was high grade magic that was very close to sorcery. Over time however, sorcery gradually became rarer and rarer, partly due to the growth of Science that replaced magic in Human Culture. In modern day, there are now only 5 known users of True sorcery, called "Sorcerers". It is known that the wielder of the First Magic is currently deceased, the 3rd wielder is Zelretch, and the 5th is Aoko Aozaki.
To use magic, one needs to be born with at least one magic circuit, and in the past, circuits were much more common. It is not possible to "implant" magic circuits into your body from others, as they will not be able to synchronise with your body and will have severe side effects. The more magic circuits you have, the more mana you can "output" at one time. For example a Magus with 50 circuits may be able to produce a fireball to destroy a wall, a Magus with 1000 would probably be able to raze several city blocks at once with ease. Mana is the "supply" of sorcerers and mages, they use mana to cast spells. Mana regains naturally with rest, but may also be transferred via bodily fluids, in other words blood tranfusions, saliva, or sperm. Poor mages may sell their sperms to the Mage's Association as a supply of mana.
Overall, that was money well spent for me, though some people might find it wasteful.
I'll be keeping these in the box full of childhood memories as a memento and proof of what I did in my younger years along with my pictures and other achievements. ^_^

So very Deep.
Haha, the box is even bigger than the pictures lead you to believe since it's not only wide but also fat. And the artbooks ARE amazing. =O
Also, do yo have a planned time on playing it?
Like when you get a laptop? =P
@SHMUP
I'd rather that if you do end up watching it to not have any expectations.
That and don't spoil yourself to the synopsis or anything.
My main complaint would be that the Protagonist is wrongly portrayed as an idiot and a pushover rather than a selfless guy because they had a hard time capturing the nuances and explainations(Admittedly though, it is a fine line between being selfless and being stupid and suicidal.) from the game. That and it became a clusterfuck in the middle.
With that said, it would definitely be worth the time spent and I think you would definitely enjoy it.
And yes I would recommend it to you, but not if you're still looking for a "fun" show.
If you're looking for a fun show, join us for the next anime night.
Hell just try one day of the new series with us and if you don't like it for any reason just quit.
Also I like your enthusiasm for TTGL haha.
Here's a wallpaper I liked.
*Real TTGL Spoilers*
- Spoiler:
- Much bigger resolution if you view image.
@B4l
I hope so, for that price..
Unfortunately though, It's just the game.
I'm pretty much at the level of Gamers buying the limited editions of Halo 3 or MW2, not even reaching the collectors edition with the spartan helmet and night vision googles...
Now if I buy figurines, posters or those roll up scroll thingys then I'd be Otakool. =P

Alrighty, I'll try to be there at least once!
And hey, that's an awesome wallpaper (what's Kamina doing in the background though? Haha)! Do you have a bigger version? My resolution is 1440x900.

It's 1400x 895.
that's almost native.
Just copy the url to your Address bar.
The page shrinks pictures.

(Talking about earlier post)

No, I know that... I just hate white bars on the left and right.
Re: Unboxing F/SN collection.
Haha, SHMUP you picky bastard.
You know you could just "stretch" it in settings and not "center" it.
Anyway, This is all I can do.
*Real TTGL Spoiler*
@Saki
If I had that kind of money I'd be at a strip club.
. . .
No I lie, I'd still be in my room fuckingĀ around.
I'd buy this one.
Haha
Honestly though, with how detailed and beautiful figures are now, I can see myself buying maybe 2 of the best ones I could find.
So yeah, I wouldn't buy posters and scrolls but I could see myself buying a figure or two.
My Otaku level isn't high enough for me to go all out.

The Saber in armor is sexy....
Well you fail for not wanting the posters or scrolls. =P If I had that much money Id need two rooms. An average neat room and a huge otaku gaming shrine.
