I doubt MS will have it cost a lot more then 100$... they will want to get it out in masses as soon as possible... getting 4 Wiimotes with nunchucks aint that cheap ether...

my vote goes for 100-200$ i mean, if i HDD and a wireless adapter are expensive i don't see why wouldn't this be cheaper

^^ because with this MS wants to sell and experiance not extra gagets... thats how Nintendo got where they are now... wireless and HDDs are not necicarry for a new experiance... but this is... also MS doesn´t make any additional cash after selling HDDs and wireless... but if they lose a buck of five on Nathal they know they can get it back trough the additional software sales... so my guesstimate would be somewhere in the 70$-120$ range... probably also bundled with consoles and one or two games...

That's pretty much all that they have done since the Xbox era so that isn't a excuse, but it will really depend on MS, if they really want to push it they will sell it cheap and for a loss, if they don't they will sell it and at least break even on the price.

I think that MS won't push it much and they are just testing the technology so they can prepare to the next gen. Kind of like Sony and the eyetoy but with actual support

MS did not invent this sytem and I don´t know why so many people think they did (no one here specific) but it seems some people think MS wouldn´t mind going bankrupt as long as they win marketshare... MS wants to make money just like everyone else... razorblade companies have been selling razors for peanuts for ages because they know people will buy their expencive blades once they have the razor... its really not that new of a concept...

Well idk about others but, when i say that MS have lost money and that they would sell it for a loss i'm not saying it in a sense that MS ain't care if they go bankrupt as long as they have the marketshare, i say it in a sense that i know that MS has a plan and that they will recover it in other way, like mrstickball says everytime the x360 has a pricecut, they can recover looses of the pricecut by having more people that buy games and accesories. If MS launch the natal cheap and for a loss and really support it they would probably lose money this gen but that would make put them in way better situation for the next gen (sort of like what they have done in Japan)

I know MS aren't stupid like Sony (which on the other hand would go bankrupt for marketshare), they prefer money but they know how to invest money to get both money and marketshare.

^^ Yeah thats what Im saying... I wouldn´t say Sony is stupid... they just where on a powertrip and thought they could do no wrong after the PS2 (much like nintendo after the SNES)...

Nintendo has to make a profit because that's all they do, they make video games..... Sony on the other hand has TV's, computers, and everything else. They don't always have to make a profit. However, I think to be a smart company, you should make a profit no matter what on everything you do, other wise what's the point of having it?

But still, right now Nintendo has more than 2x the market value of Sony, can you explain me how is a Videogame company outselling a Electronic company (which is VERY big and covers almost every electronic and had a monopoly in the gaming division for 2 generations)? I'm probably being a little bit too harsh with Sony but their decisions in the last years ain't stimulate me to think in other form.
