What's the point of cursing?

Seriously, what's the point? I see and hear them everywhere I go. In school, outside of school, on the way from school, on the way to school, in the back field of the school, in the buses of the school, in the stairs and stoops of the schools, and even in the teacher's license plates in the school. Anyways I see a lot of cursing lately and I just want to say, what's the flippin point of doing it? Does it make you look like a pimp when you do it? You think that it makes you look cool when you do curse?

I don't think using words with disgusting and sexual implies is any worse then saying something like "Tomato!" or "Deodorant!" when a bird poops on you or you step on a needle, i don't really care

i was going o say "well my friends and i would go around with some music on and a cooler of "soda" in the back of the truck , no "soda" for the driver and just hang out and listen to tunes

Now seriously, I don't curse in spanish, I just don't like it, but I'm a bit more lax in English, maybe it's that the curse words are much more soft in english than in spanish (in other words, if you want to insult very seriously someone, in Spanish it's way easier than in English, Don can back me up here), so I don't mind them much. Who knows..

I curse very easily in English... and I can control my cursing in spanish (family, work)

also is fun how can call all kind of insults and curses on your closest friends.
