Russia Predicts a second civil war in the US by 2010

MOSCOW -- For a decade, Russian academic Igor Panarin has been predicting the U.S. will fall apart in 2010. For most of that time, he admits, few took his argument -- that an economic and moral collapse will trigger a civil war and the eventual breakup of the U.S. -- very seriously. Now he's found an eager audience: Russian state media.

As someone that's one sixteenth native American and according to pichu's argument I am more deserving of America than anyone else. That map would make me Canadian and I would not accept that. Besides for hockey, maple syrup, and universal health care; nothing in Canada interests me. I'd move to the east coast. I'd rather be part of Europe.

Falcon has a point. Much of that region was Mexico.

Everyone, Including myself and pretty much many people who lives in the Americas is really in foreign territory. Britain and France with the Falklands and the Northern part of NA. Spain with Mexico and south of that. All those once belonged to the Incas, Mayans, Algonquins, Iroquois, and other Native Americans (or Indians if you will ) once owned the land.

Yeah, but when the British went to the US they started to kill every Indian in order to expand that's why the US ain't have much cultural influence in that aspect, in Mexico it was different, the Spaniards (Spanish or however are called) didn't kill the Indians, they "converted" them into the catholic religion and use them as slaves, that's why México has a lot of cultural influence, if that territory belong to someone is to Mexican Indians, not US Indians.

Not necessarily. The British didn't per se killed the Indians but rather chased them away from the where the British had stationed AKA the 13 colonies. They fled west so they don't have any other problems where the French were because the French were more nicer to the Indians to do more trade with them for fur and stuff.

Technically they did kill them. Indirectly that is. The conquistadors would get anyone that gets in the way of their expansion and for the rest the small pox and the turbucolosis got them that the Spaniards had bring them. You are right about the converting part but still they killed them with diseases.

Also we're talking about who got what's land. The Native Americans from Mexico and south were their lands. NO ONE not even the Spaniards had the moral right to come in and bring their religions and diseases over. So technically Europeans should have never even touched this side of the hemisphere.
