Is it Million or Millions?

When you saw a random number to go with it do you say 4 millions? or do you say it without the S?

Help me here, my English spelling and grammar isn't as prestige as some of yours.

If you have a specified number you leave the "s" away... as in: "Sony sold 7 million consoles less than Microsoft."

If you have a unspecified number you ad the "s"... as in: "Sony spent millions on useless ad campaigns."

If Wile E. Coyote had enough money to buy all that Acme junk, why didn't he just buy dinner?

But who is to say he didn't buy it on credit under a fake name so he would not have to pay back the amount owed?
