Wow I have not logged in here in forever.

I was looking for something I posted here a while back and could help but re-tour the old site. It is a ghost town without the decay. This site has been here 6 years. Hard to believe it has been that long.

So what have you guys been up to? I will expect the first response in 6 months.

I have been busy working, though I just beat Witcher 3 and thought I should quit my job and play video games. Wink JK

For some reason I feel this compulsion to update this place. Probably OCD well either way here I go.

Hello Kenzo.

Just graduated, with honors, with a BS is Computer Science last month.
Started my summer internship this month.
Will have been with my (sort of) girlfriend for one year next month.
My grandpa died 4 months ago who I was extremely close with.
Been reading The Short History of Nearly Everything.
Been playing Smash Bros Wii U.
Trying to keep up with my running 3 days a week and workout 3 days a week. (This is hard)

I think that's pretty much it.

Well congrats on graduating.

Yeah keeping up with running can be difficult it seems other things always get in the way. I was running regularity for a while then I got a wicked cold.

By the time I got over the cold I was completely slammed at work and was having trouble finding the time.

I seems to be on again off again a lot with running.

Hey kenzo long time no see! I still check up on the site every now and then. We still have a somewhat active skype chat for some of the gay members.

I also just graduated with a B.E. in Computer Engineering. I recently met up with Dai (sonix) in New York and we had some fun, hes in japan now visiting. Last summer I went to japan for one month and had an amazing time, it really had an impact on me, hope to return there soon.

I am currently looking for a job and hope to find one this summer before my girlfriend comes back from her vacation haha.

I havent been playing video games much these days, but I still look forward to MGSV in september.

Hey everyone, getting back on the wagon i see...

Thanks dsis for mentioning this place again... It really has been so long...

Hi Kenzo, Mako, Skeez, and everyone else that visits after. Just checking in myself.

I am working for HP now, and have been since 2011. Started on a helpdesk for Airlines, and moved up to a Unix Engineering gig for a big travel client of HP at the end of 2013. Been working there and learning the trade since... Working on Linux servers mostly, with lots of moving parts and a client that doesn't always know what they want, let alone how to ask us to deliver it. Basically a glorified SysAdmin, but with more responsibilities... Some nice perks, but some drawbacks (on call for a week once a quarter).

Been happily married since 2007. No change there.

I will try to send dude this way as well. Send me a message on skype sometime, any of you. (luinil.wilwaren if you didn't have it)

BTW, if anyone wants to play some smash, i am down for it.

Hey Skeez, Luinil.

It seems we're all bunch of nerds on here. Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Linux Systems Admin, and I have been doing some system admin of late. Unfortunately we moved from Linux to Windows. I hate Windows Server.

Fun side story. So we (Trial exhibits) build this awesome Supermicro data storage system. Influenced by others and "how easy Windows is" (LIES) we buy Server 2012. Well since Supermicro is bare bones and you build everything they just send you the license codes for Windows no disc.

They tell us we just download it from Microsoft. So we download it from Microsoft and it will not take the codes. Fast forward 4 days later and we have come to discover the following.

1 - Our license was for Windows Server 2012 R2
2 - Even though R2 is technically just an update the licensing is treated as completely different product so you can't install and update.
3 - Microsoft does not let you download online from them Windows Server 2012 R2. They only have the not R2 version. Muktiple phone calls later and they are basically like "not our problem" But I paid you $600, too bad call your vendor.
4 - Supermicro (at least our vender) does not have a disc to give. They told us to call Microsoft

We literally had to torrent 2012 R2 so we could legally install the software we paid money for.

So stupid

Hello everyone! Lol at Kenzo's story. Very Happy

Yeah, I don't play much video games anymore either, but I try to make time for Smash every once in a while. (Mako91 on Wii U) Add me whoever wants to play (Luin).

Finding a job with no experience is difficult so I just settled for an internship at first Skeez. Good luck!

Glad everyone is still doing good.

Need to visit Skype chat from time to time.
