This thing looks like a best and will probably have a price point to match. 5" OLED screens are not cheap and neither is anything else it has in there. They will have to sell this thing at a loss to generate sales. I'd be surprised if it was under $400 to be honest. May get one when they are around $200 though. ^_^

Ugly as hell (Both hardware and UI) and while they did add some good features sony still hasn't learned a god damn thing when you think about. Its DS v PSP all over again which is funny. Anyway I'm sure cool shit will come out just further down the line. Will get one EVENTUALLY.

I think they ARE selling that at a loss.
We'll see how this PSP ends up. Maybe it won't get any games again >_>

^^ how should it be with no UMD? I guess you could download them but whats the point? I hear they wanted to port a bush of PS1 games to it first... which would be backwards... if they ported the best PS2 games to it they might gather some decent core gamer attention... and thats clearly who they must be going after with this sort of hardware...
my problem with that is its most probably going to cost more than a PS3 costs right now... and core gaming is really something done at home... people just don't want to play something like God of War on a small screen... or play a epic RPG in small bursts on the bus... with the DS being so popular with casual gamers and half the world being able to play cheap games (with increasing quality) on their smartphones I don't see thins doing any better than decent... and thats not what they are going for...
I'd probably still prefer this to a 3DS...
